If you’ve been following this blog for a while, you might remember that I stated that Bill Gothard’s teachings messed up my ability to think logically. But how in the world?
My dad just published an article that explains how Bill Gothard’s ATI homeschool program taught us students to think illogically and lazily. The reason? Analogies.
Rather than try to repeat it all here, I’ll just direct you on to Biblical Research Reports to read “ATI: Designed Around a False Education ‘Principle’”. If you have sat under Bill’s teaching—especially if you grew up in ATI—I highly recommend you read it.
